Taxes
I believe Arizona families are taxed
too much. When a combined tax bill eats up nearly
40 percent of an individuals pay, something needs
to be changed. As your next State Representative,
I will fight to reduce the burden that taxes place
on Arizona's family. I will also work to permanently
repeal state property taxes.
Spending
As a small businessman who understands the details
of meeting a budget and keeping spending under control,
I do not see why government should not be doing
the same. Unfortunately, government spending continues
to grow by leaps and bounds every single year. I
am a fiscal conservative who will work to root out
wasteful spending and reduce the size of government
cost .
Illegal Immigration
I believe it is irresponsible to talk about guest
work programs or amnesty when our government refuses
to take the necessary measures to secure our border.
More so than almost any other state, Arizona residents
have paid for the inability of the federal government
to secure the border. As your next State Representative,
I will be unwavering in my commitment to finding
real solutions, at the state level, that will help
put an end to illegal immigration in our state.
The 2nd Amendment
I am committed to protecting and defending your
right to keep and bear arms. In the Legislature,
I will stand firm in defense of the 2nd amendment
and vote against any attempts to restrict your constitutional
rights.
Protecting Traditional Family
Values and the Sanctity of Life
As a father of two children and a cancer survivor,
I have seen firsthand just how precious life is.
In the State Legislature, I will commit to advocate
for the fundamental sanctity of life, born and unborn.
I will also stand firm in defense of traditional
marriage from liberal attempts to undermine and
redefine it.
Education
My wife taught in elementary education for 7 years
and I have two advanced degrees from Arizona Universities.
I believe in education and in educational choice.
Whether it is public, private, parochial, charter
schools, or home schooling, I believe a parent knows
better than government bureaucrats do, what education
is best for their child. I support school choice,
because we should be doing everything possible to
ensure that each and every one of Arizona's children
receive the best education possible.
